With the cancellation of college football games for 2020, the Nebraska Football team has secured their first undefeated season since 1997.
“This is a win-win for our program,” says head coach Scott Frost. “Not only do we get to go undefeated, but we don’t have to get blown out 48-7 by Ohio State or get run over by Minnesota 34-7 (That actually happened. Fucking Minnesota.). It’s a real confidence boost for our team to avoid those humiliating losses for a season.
Athletic Director Bill Moos was also excited the undefeated season. “This is great for our program, the state of Nebraska, and most importantly, our student athletes. Now they can finally focus on their communication degrees or physical education degrees, without all the distractions that a Division 1 football program offers. I’m excited to see some of the class work these guys will put out this fall.”
Nebraska was originally slated to open the season September 3rd against Rutgers, who recently had to suspend practices as 28 members of the team recently tested positive for Covid-19 as well as sucking shit at football.
